Hello, my name is Matthias Böttcher. I was born in Sindelfingen-Germany in 1988 and I’m the Designer of the Mercedes SL|PURE Concept, wich was my Bachelor thesis, dedicated to the Mercedes-Benz brand of Daimler.

Starting at the Gottlieb-Daimler-School in Sindelfingen I moved to Munich. There I studied Industrial Design with focus on Transportation Design.

The SL|PURE is the result of amassed knowledge of four years in college. You can really feel the precision of the surface modelling and the high one measured detailed elaboration.
